Red Camel

17 Oct

I love this color combination together. It’s so classic yet fun. I paired red jeggings with a white Henley and a camel vest that I borrowed from a skirt suit, lol. I added the leopard print stiletto peep toe booties to tie it all together.

Viva Las Vegas

4 May

Hey dolls, I spent the weekend in Las Vegas to partake in the fight and all of its festivities. We stayed at the colossal MGM Grand. It was my first time visiting Vegas but I doubt my last.   It was so many people from all over the world in town for the slug fest. I was quite overwhelmed by the masses. Next time I go I’ll be sure to avoid any major event.

We still managed to enjoy ourselves and went sight seeing, shopping, and dining before viewing the long awaited match between “Pay”weather as I like to call him and Pacman.

The food was yummy and plentiful.

It was definitely a once and a lifetime event.

Fight night

My pants drew a lot of attention ūüė≥. But the weather was so hot that open legs were very welcoming.

After a long weekend, we made it safely back home.

Red Haute

29 Nov

So…I like to look haute as possible on date night, lol. It was cold out and I opted to wear pants. This Guess one piece was on clearance at Macy’s for $17 and was originally $100! The back is cut out which gives it a little pizazz. I’ve had the thigh high boots for a few years and have only worn them once.

I added some gold accessories,

And MAC’s Ruby Woo and was good to go!

Age of Aquarius

30 Jan

I celebrated another year of life on January 22nd. The weather was pretty abysmal, so we actually waited until the still frigid weekend before venturing out. Here are glimpses of my day:

Winter White and Rose Gold

5 Dec

I have been eyeing these luscious leggings for over a month now. With only one remaining in my size, I decided to take the plunge! I’m so glad that I did! They are simply scrumptious. The only bad thing is that I am short and the leggings are not really designed for us petites, lol.

I plan to pair them with a winter white blazer which I already had¬† in my closet that’s never been worn! I found a pair of reasonably priced rose gold¬†¬†heels and a bib necklace in the same hue. The purse is a pearly¬†winter white¬†with rose gold accents.

I can’t wait to put it all together! However, I am missing one¬†element-a¬†winter white corset top/camisole/tank top/bustier to wear underneath the blazer. If I can’t find the right shade, I’m going to pin it together with a rose gold brooch.

Inspired by Victoria

21 Aug

It’s no secret that I love Victoria Beckham’s¬†style, so when I saw this¬† faux¬†leather skirt, I knew I had to recreate her look. I added a scarf because it was chilly this morning, plus it worked well with the pink skirt and the chocolate belt. Victoria paired hers with tan accessories.¬† However, I chose nudey-pink pumps to finish the look.

Coral Crush

5 Feb

It was soooooo hard for me to leave this jacket and skirt behind! But at $518, I managed to restrain myself, lol.

The jacket has beautiful detailing with the cut out pattern. It is a piece that can transition well with others.

The skirt is covered in pretty coral pailettes.

I think I would pair it with gray heels/boots to compliment the coral.
