Wedding

I attended a very special wedding-one of a former student, my favorite in fact. The bride was stunning and is still every bit of pretty she was in high school.

I always like to dress simply for weddings as I am not the star of the show. The wedding colors were mint green and peach. I opted for a play on those colors.

Green and pink it is! I love a classic, sleek ponytail.

The venue had some lovely spots for taking photos.

• Last weekend we went to the Queen city for Macy’s Music Festival and saw Laura Izibor, El Debarge, Kem, Keysha Cole, and Frankie Beverly and Maze.  Everyone performed really well.  We also spent some time shopping and I came home with some great deals. My fiance treated me to: a Coach purse, a Coach weekender bag, a lovely dove grey and peach Guess satchel, a black and white sequined handbag , a sexy cut-out dress in cobalt, and a pair of black sequined hot pants all from BCBG, two pair of Levi shorts, and…I can’t remember everything!
• I complained about not having any gym shoes (because I seldom wear them), but over the summer beau has bought me a total of ten pair! I received two pair just yesterday, lol. Now I need to join a gym. My next class starts August 25th, so I can wear a lot of my new sneakers on campus.

• I want to take a pole dancing class to release the inner stripper in me, lol
• I have been so busy this summer, hence the lack of blogging. My phone, an Evo 3D, had to be reset which totally wiped out my ability to post from my phone due to my google password being incorrect–yet it is correct when I log in to view my email. I will figure it out shortly.
• I have been shopping soooooo much over the last few months that I am really behind in posting my weekend warrior series. I really need to go back to the basics and use my digital camera.
• I have been trying on wedding gowns. Our target date is sometime next year. I love this one by Impression!  However, I would have the bow removed.  This is style #10009.
