Lady Gray

24 Mar

I’ve had this sweater for a few years now and was actually thinking about getting rid of it. The boots were a birthday gift and I’ve been looking through my closet for pieces to pair with them.

The tutu is attached to the sweater and gives it a unique flavor. This appealed to the dancer I me. The sleeves also have thumb holes-another cool touch.

I added gray jeans and a chunky necklace to finish off the look.

It’s still pretty cold here in Indiana, which means that I can continue to wear my sweaters before the weather changes to blazing.

I absolutely love this sweater. The tulle attached to the longline cardigan is what did it for me. It’s so girly and completely reminds me of my ballerina days. And not to mention, it’s super warm and comfy.

These booties are about 4.5 inches and just barely lift the tulle off the ground.

So the only drawback is the length. I’m short and as you can see the sweater is long. I have to be very carefully when wearing it.

I am a huge fan of Prince! In fact, I even visited his mansion, Paisley Park when it was opened to the public after his death.

The t shirt that I have on in the picture is a souvenir from the trip. Oddly, my friend showed up at church wearing the same shirt, and no, it was not planned!

I was cracking up in the photo below as you can see, lol.

I was going for a rocker look, hence the ripped jeans and boots with silver accents.

The focus piece for this look is my earrings. I ordered them well over a year ago but did not really like them once I opened the package. They simply did not look the way they did on Instagram.

When I wear my hair in a ponytail, I like dramatic earrings to balance the look so I decided to give them a try.

As you can see below, they make quite the statement and I loved them!
