Leather Weather

Usually on Fridays I dress completely casual-jeans, school sweat shirt, and tennis shoes casual. But today, I decided to kick it up a notch.

I paired black coated denim jeans with an orange pussy willow bow blouse. I added a camel colored blazer to prep it up. My camel and black bow pumps worked perfectly with the look I was going after.

I finished up with a few simple accessories: orange jewel earrings, a pretty rose gold rhinestone clustered choker, and a pearl bracelet.

I put this outfit together on a whim. I wanted to wear a grey sweater with a white button down underneath, however, I could not detach the black tutu from my lone grey sweater, lol. So I had to resort to plan b.

I remembered I hung on to this plaid jacket which fit the color scheme nicely. I paired it with a ruched button down, and a pair of slim fit trousers from The Limited (clearance). Usually I wear super high heels but I settled for soft dove grey kitten heels today. I added pearls around my neck and to my ears-and it was a wrap!

Plaid Please

It’s that time of year when the air is crisp, the leaves are falling, hot chocolate is served, sweaters are plentiful, football is played, and the fabrics of fall are a major part of the autumn season.

Houndstooth and Pearls

Today I wanted to go for a classic look: houndstooth and pearls. Most of the pieces came from The Limited (everything in the store was 40% off except for the sweaters which were 50% off). I also picked up a red v-neck sweater and a cream and red lip printed scarf that I plan to pair with a camel colored blazer. I even earned some virtual dollars that I will be spending soon. Of course, I had Holly Woodlawn on my lips. Nars did a fantastic job with this punchy color.

Hi dolls! I’m back after a two month hiatus. However, I’m proud to say that I’m finished with school! I have a few more notches on my educational belt. Anyhow, I’ll be back posting 2-3 times a week from here on out!

Weekend Warrior

I went shopping on Sunday and got:

Peach lace scarf from The Limited $26.90.  So feminine and pretty, I just had to have it! It looked gorg next to my milk chocolate shruken leather jacket but can be paired with most anything.

Perfect tee from The Gap $10       Crease T from The Gap $14.50 A wardrobe staple.  I’ll be clutching my pearls in the v neck along with my lace Vita booties.  Impatiently awaiting their arrival…

Belle du Jour cardigan in olive Macy’s $19.99 So cute that I have it on today! I love the wrinkled look and the netted details.  Olive is a nice neutral color that goes well with most shades.
